May Day Cartoon

A ship representing International Capitalism founders, washed over by the Tide of History. While Labor cheers her demise, the very Banks who caused her distress plot their next Crime. The Almighty looks on without disapproval, though takes no credit -- her timbers were rotted at the start! In 2009, therefore, 'May Day' cries are especially resonant...

Not sure if this came through clearly...the idea is that workers cheering "May Day" will sound extra loud this year, as the passengers on board the ship of Capitalism scream "mayday!" alongside them.

And apologies for the Simpsons-esque Godhead. For some reason beards cause me no end of trouble.
